Mindfulness Movement Programme
The simple practice of being in the moment relieves stress and promotes happiness. Recently, the EtonHouse Community Fund (ECF) successfully piloted a Mindfulness Movement Programme at the Singapore Girls' Home. This programme aims to empower the youth to use movement as a vehicle for self-expression and behavioural change in a non-judgmental environment. Almost 90% of the participants felt more positive about themselves after the programme. Programme conducted by Mindful Movement Instructor, Daniel Rojas, Embodied Dance Movement and In collaboration with Ministry of Social and Family Development.
ECF & ECDA Kidstart Collaboration
At the Early Childhood Conference held on 13 September, Minister Desmond Lee acknowledged the contributions made by EtonHouse Community Fund towards the KidStart programme. EtonHouse Community Fund has provided support for children from low-income families since the start of the KidSTART pilot in 2016 by committing $175,000 over the years.
EtonHouse Charity Walk 2019
EtonHouse community fund organised a wonderful charity walk & fun fair this April at East Coast Park. It was an eventful fun-filled day involving 37 schools across the island with more than 2000 participants. We were delighted to see families getting together as a community and raising funds for a good cause. Thankful to everyone who came out to give their support for the under-privileged. Looking forward to see all again of you during our next charity event.
