WHY INTERNSHIP FOR YOUTH?
Helping youth by helping others
Youth at-risk often face multiple stressors in life, including difficulty transitioning successfully into adulthood.
By providing them with internship opportunities, they can improve their livelihood and on-the-job skills to succeed in life.
A career in early childhood can be especially rewarding, as it gives them the chance to make a positive difference to other children.
WHO WE IMPACT
Instilling confidence in at-risk youth
This internship programme is designed for youth recommended by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) who have expressed interest in a career in early childhood.
With the guidance of a dedicated mentor, interns will gain relevant knowledge and skills, as well as confidence to prepare for future employment in the field.
Connecting at-risk youth to career opportunities
We partnered with the MSF to launch an internship programme for youth in 4 EtonHouse campuses.
