The Mindfulness Movement Programme
Mindfulness is a state of being aware of one's thoughts and sensations. Studies have shown that the practice, which includes meditation, has been known to calm people down and reduce stress. Schools here and overseas have, in recent years, introduced mindfulness practice to help students refocus their thoughts and regulate their emotions.
The Mindfulness Movement Program was first successfully piloted in the Singapore Girls Home, to help reduce stress and enhance emotional well- being. A survey conducted with the participants showed that 80% of the girls felt more positive about themselves after the programme. With its success, ECF has extended the programme to 9 residential homes in Singapore and benefitted 150 beneficiaries.
The Programme was also mentioned in The Straits Times on the 5th February 2019.

Box of Joy
The ‘Box of Joy’ Donation Drive is an initiative of EtonHouse Community Fund (ECF) to bring a little bit of joy to these children. To kick-start this meaningful donation drive, we requested parents to send in their unused shoe boxes so that we can use them to wrap the gifts. Our Beneficiaries include Singapore Children’s Society, ECDA Well Centre (Henderson CC), Hope Centre Singapore. This initiative benefits about 2000 children every year.
